Shiloh brought us many miracles. One of them is the acquaintance of a family named the Knickerbockers.
Amanda and Peter Knickerbocker welcomed their darling daughter into this world at the ripe ole' age of 24 weeks. Like us, they live a distance from the NICU where their little princess has been fighting for her life for months now. This week marks the original due date and they are enduring yet another set back that delays bringing precious Charlotte home. This little girl has beat all of the odds--can we help them over this latest speed bump?
As much as we need your prayers, they need them more. I know you won't let me down.
Thanks.

I think it's always a good thing to help cope when you meet people who are going through the same things you are. I'm glad you are handling things so well...I'm always thinking of you.
What an amazing family. I'm glad you guys found eachother. I love the new pictures you added. The picture of Shiloh brings tears to my eyes. What a beautiful precious child of god. Children really are miracles, every single one of them. Love you guys!
I found your blog because I am friends with the Knickerbockers. Thank you, for thinking of them this week. I pray for both of your families each day. Thank you, for sharing your pain. It helps me to see my own life in a clearer perspective. I pray that you will heal, emotionally as well as physically.

I too know the Knickerbockers. It's incredible how suffering draws people together--strangers, friends, acquaintances. Your struggles may be unique to you, but they resonate with the human experience. We all suffer with loss and grief and pain. So thank you for sharing how you are enduring triumphantly. Hopefully we'll learn from you and we can all make it together.
The picture of Shiloh is beautiful. My heart goes out to you. You're in my prayers, as is Shiloh.
Hillary,
