Day 32: Oh Dear.

This picture accurately portrays my sentiments about our government today.

We just concluded reading the Constitution of the United States of America.
It is not outdated. It is timeless. I am grateful for it. It came at a very dear price.
Our Founders had it right--somewhere between there and here we drifted from the balanced center they placed us on in the spectrum of Anarchy and Tyranny. It's rather discouraging. Where did we go wrong? How do we get back?
I think it might have something to do with this.

I am grateful for my family tonight. There really isn't a more important work we do than that which is done within the walls of our own home.

Love the picture and I love your blog! It's like my little daily devotional to read your blog. And anytime I find myself starting to complain about things, I think of you and "stick a Pollyanna glad game sticker on my hiney," and suck it up!
I hope you guys are doing well!

Oh Dear is right!!
I stand with you and completely agree with everything you've said.
I am going to encourage Jeff to have our family read the Constitution together. Heaven knows they aren't being taught well enough in our public schools!
Thank you again
