What is he thinking. . .

I've often wished for the ability to read my nearly 2 year-old's mind. He does some weird stuff, and it makes us laugh (i.e. having to wear dad's shorts as a makeshift dress of some sort) He has officially transferred from the baby to little boy phase and I'm sad about that but excited that he's learning more each day and gaining greater understanding and independence (I think!). His newest words this week are 'choo, choo' for train, elmo, and bob (bob the builder). The days when he does do naughty things like unroll an entire roll of toilet paper or dump Gold Bond all over himself, I remind myself that he isn't just my child--he's Heavenly Father's and that it is a priviledge to be his Mom.

Is that Colton's tongue I see sticking out at us? I hope he was just giving us raspberries! I love his hair spiked up - too cute! And that last picture with the crown - just kissable!

He is just adorable and I have to remind myself daily that they are Heavenly Father's Children. Cason is into everything. Right when we got home from church and I was trying to get lunch he took a tablespoon and started dumping pepper into it and then to the sink. I told him stop, stop, stop. Enough with the messes. I still had a syrup mess to clean up that they did right before church and I was sick of the messes. Brenden says, he is only two Jenni, that's what two year olds do.... So I guess we just better Love it! I constantly remind myself someday I am going to wish I had a mess to clean up!

Totally wonder about those little thoughts all the time with my little guy. Way to catch some of those extra creative moments with great shots! Kempton has an affinity for Gold Bond as well... too bad we don't live closer- these boys could be great buddies!
