Walk Until Your Feet Bleed. . .And Then Walk Some More (compliments of Wolverine)

Anyone who has attempted to cover the four parks at Disney world in a week's time knows exactly what I'm talking about. Actually, we walked our newest family member Ashley to the point that her feet really were bleeding--poor girl. Blaine's entire family along with his Grandma Calaway flew down last week to vacation with us and by the end of the week we were happy, worn out, a little sun-burned and wishing we had a few more days to do more. We covered a lot of ground the seven days they were here; from touring St. Augustine and Gainesville, to the four Disney Parks and a day at Cocoa Beach to finish it up. (oh, and of course a couple trips to the Outlets squeezed somewhere in there) All in all it was a wonderful break from the same ole' and we enjoyed having everyone here with us. Thanks for spoiling us Mom and Dad!

A quick stop at Daytona and then on to St. Augustine we go.
Blaine enjoying touring St. Augustine -one of his old mission areas.

Inside the Matanzas Fort at St. Augustine re-enacting the cramped quarters once endured there.
The Bull Gator pic. One more semester to go--HOORAY!
"I miss Gator Football". This is what Blaine admits to me in quiet moments when I think he's really upset about something.

It was scorching hot the whole week. Colt was so good for us--he couldn't get enough of the water fountains.
Grandma Calaway, Colton and Devin
The whole group at Animal Kingdom
Colton enjoys the slides (if you can't tell!)

Colton and Hillary
Colton LOVES the ocean--he'd walk straight out into the waves if you'd let him.
Blaine and Colton at Cocoa Beach
Devin, Bradley and Bryce playing a little football.
Nice throw Bradley--how's that sunburn coming?!. . .
(p.s. thanks Grandma Valerie for the monkey backpack. Colt literally goes everywhere with his new favorite buddy. He slept with him yesterday for his nap and if you try to take him away he acts like a crazy monkey!)

Fun, fun, fun! Colton looks so happy! I'm glad everyone had such a fun time. Looks like Colton is a natural to water activities. I love the monkey pictures, especially the middle one. What a face! Valerie, I hope you kissed on those little soft cheeks extra for this grandma!
