We found ourselves today yet again walking into a new ward within a year's time and the mixture of excitement/anxious anticipation had one long sigh escaping my mouth (and wondering why I wore my highest heeled boots today. . .ouch!)
Thankfully, our new ward welcomed us with open arms and we didn't escape without several dinner invites (I think they took pity on our 'suite' life plight), one of which we are enjoying today as we join the Stake President and his family for a meal.
I tried to explain to my munchkin that we were eating at the President's house.
"We going to President Monson's house!?"
"Umm. . .No."
I wonder how disappointed he's going to be when this man doesn't match this picture.
Oh well. At least I know that he recognizes our beloved President.

I loved this post! That would be quite the dinner if that was the president you were eating with!! Glad Blaine found a job! Hope you guys are doing well!
Wouldn't that be an amazing dinner. I don't think you would be eating too much though. I'm loving the "suite" life stories. Although, it would have it's down falls.
Oh, Hill - that's so wonderful! Is the stake president in your ward or was he just visiting? Is he and his wife anything like our stake president and his wife? I can just imagine someone like Todd & Paulynn welcoming you in. I love that Colton knows who President Monson is. I'm anxious to hear more.
Love ya' !
