Hurray for summer days.I don't have anything profound to offer today (not that I ever really do).
I am just grateful to spend an ordinary day with my husband and boy. I'm grateful I got to read extra long this morning, go on a bike ride with Blaine and Colt, iron clothes, work on projects, get stuff done. (And I am grateful this head cold of mine is almost over)
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the rest of this summer.
(Am I the only one who thinks time has sped up and it is flying by?)

That was so fun to open up your blog and see Blaine's happy, handsome face. It made me smile. This summer has been filled with ordinary days for me but for some reason, my heart has been filled with joy and gratitude so much this summer. I have reveled in the beautiful sunny days and it has brought sunshine to my heart. I wish time could slow down and we could drag summer out another couple of months or so. But I guess we need the harsh winter ahead to make us appreciate the warm summer days.
Oh my goodness, I love ordinary days. They're the best. And you are definitely not the only one who feels like this summer is just flying by. I keep wondering where the time is going!
Hey! I am resisting the modern technology of texting. I have a blog - that's as tech savvy as I get. No facebook for me either. I am an old soul. I think we should go back to old fashioned letter writing. Maybe I will get smart and just call you tonight. Our plan though is this: leave here around 6:30 am, get to Eau Clare around 10:00. It may be more of a "brunch." Do you have an IHOP? That would be awesome. Then we will probably be back on the road again by 11:30 to get to the MOA around 12:30. I don't think we are planning on staying over because my mom needs to work in the morning. I hope 6 hours at the MOA will be enough.... I could sleep there. I love it.
