I have the best friends in the whole world--just read back through the comments on my blog. Amazing people who pick you up when life knocks you down, laugh with you in the good times, cry with you through the sad, and always let you know that they are there.
There is no way we could have made it through the last two weeks without all of you. THANK YOU for the manifestation of your friendship be it praying in our behalf, calling, texting, emailing, the thoughtful gifts, all of it.
So this one goes out to all of you. I think this Arabian Proverb says it best:
" A friend is one to whom one may pour out all the contents of one's heart, chaff and grain together, knowing that the gentlest of hands will take and sift it, keep what is worth keeping and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away."
