If you recently talked to us, it is old news that we are packing up (again) and moving to
Siberia.
Ok, not really but close enough. This registers in as our tenth move since our marriage 6 years ago this May(YIKES!): fourth major move including Pasco WA, Gainesville FL, Johnston IA, and now Eau Claire WI with six minor moves between Idaho and Washington during our undergrad years. We were doing the math the other day and we figured that we'll have been in 14 wards, 7 stakes before our first kid is potty-trained. Yes, we are veritable pros at packing--we can load a U-Haul in less time than it takes the Two Year Old to watch a Pixar film (tried and true-believe you and me)
And this is what we've decided.
It is going to be Awesome!
I read the other day that 'right attitudes produce right actions'. This is a new place with new things to see, new people to meet, and new adventures to have. And does it really hurt that I am only an hour from America's biggest mall? I don't think so. . .
We will miss all of our friends here like we do those in places previous, but that is why we have blogs, facebook, and airplanes right? Right.
We look forward to the changes that are happening in our life this year and wish you the best in whatever adventures come your way during 2010!

I think it is all about the right attitude. I wish I was only 1 hour from the largest mall too. Have fun with you move.
How exciting! I am glad you have that kind of attitude...I wouldn't be too excited about moving that many times. But, you are right, it does create new adventures and those are always fun! Good luck!
Congrats, will you come helpus move this summer? We are not pros yet we have only moved twice in Utah one cross country and a semi move this summer... I hope you like it. Mall of America! You may as well call it D-world with shopping!!!!
This is bittersweet, but i am sure excited to visit you.. HELLO I will totally take advantage of the largest MALL! Brocks wallet has no idea what is coming! haha
Wisconsin?! Good luck, I hate moving!
Oh my goodness, that is alot of moving!! your a good wife! thats Minnesota right??
Good luck with everything. Hope you enjoy your new town.
attitude is everything for everything. I told Mitzi you were moving out there, she's stoked. get me your address when you get there, she wants it. Wi. is dang cold but really nice and pretty the few months you get it. Lots of luck .
love laura
Oh... some people don't seem to know Eau Clare is in Wisconsin? Dang. As a born and raised and also current Wisconsin-ite (is that a word?) I feel I must list some good things for you:
1- Like you said, your close proximity to the MOA. Definitely better shopping than Iowa and Idaho combined. Times three. There's even an indoor amusement park. Take a fun weekend trip with the fam.
2- Wisconsin Dells is probably about four hours away. It's got a whole city of waterparks and even resorts with indoor ones during winter time. Definitely worth a drive.
3- Now that the Packers lost Brett, you are right in between MN and WI so you can just claim loyalty to either the Vikings OR the Pack. Whoever's having a better year! (At this point neither though...boo.)
4- Everyone seems to think WI is super cold. But I really thought Rexburg was waaaay worse. If you could survive that you'll be okay in Wisconsin. Trust me.
5- Brats! That's like, short for bratwurst. May sound gross. But if you didn't have them in Iowa (do you?) at least try one - Johnsonville brand is best and must be cooked on the grill.
6- But the best reason? Same state as me. Yay! Roadtrip!!! Tell me when you're gonna be here and I'm coming up!
Hey Botch- that is no place near Utah. Please adjust your priorities ASAP.
How ya been?
