Lo, an angel appeareth!

I have been down and out for two days with a nasty cold so you can imagine my delight when a mysteriously wrapped package addressed to the Two Year Old showed up at our front door. An angel in the form of my mother-in-law sent a Little People Nativity that has engrossed our child's attention and kept him from clinging to my hip as he has been doing since I've been bed-ridden.

No matter that it isn't even Thanksgiving yet--we are whole-heartedly ushering Christmas in early this year.

THANK YOU GRANDMA!

"babee jee-shush!"

"yu-yoo yae-baech"
('love you grandma'--we know, a little off. working on it.)

Grandma Calaway is the best! I love the little people nativity! Ours is missing a few pieces I want to buy a new one this year! That's the best when there's a knock at the door and a package you are not expecting!

I was just looking at the Little People Nativity yesterday and was wishing I had a little one to buy it for...maybe I ought to just go ahead and get it anyway.
Your little guys is growing up fast. What a cutie.

Packages are the highlight of our life over here so far away from family! We'll take whatever goodies we can find inside. The Little People Nativity is definitely a WINNER! And what great timing...
(BTW, thanks for the birthday wishes...)
