We got the chance to come visit Grandma and Grandpa Furness in Idaho which is especially great since Colton has become obsessed as of late with 'twacters' (tractors). Whether it is his mini tractors, his tractor pillow he has to sleep with every night and tractor book (THANK YOU Aunt Luanne--you could not have chosen a happier recipient--he is in heaven!), or his Grandpa's real tractors. Every day he puts his John Deere boots on (usually, the wrong feet but that's what Moms are for), and heads out to Grandpa's yard to visit the tractor line up, climb on each one, or point and say "WOW" or "OHHH". In fact, he is driving one of his Uncle Jordan's old mini tractors around the house as I type this--you get the picture.

I'm having flashbacks to when Collin was that age. At least you know more about tractors than I did. Have fun keeping up with that obsession! He looks so cute in his boots (Collin had irrigation boots that he wore at all times- so those are way better).
How cute! I am so glad he got a pair of John Deere boots! He will wear them and wear them! My kids wear them all summer and all winter. They are great "farming" shoes for when they go to Grandpa's! There is something about little boys and an obsession with John Deere! It has made it so much fun with John Deere becoming so popular! Tell Colton to have fun on the tractors! Every little boys dream!
Love the shirt and the boots, he is such a boys boy. I love it, we miss Colton around here Addi needs her little buddy.

Hey I heard that you may be headed to Des MOines, IA. Is that true? If so and you need somewhere to stay while you look around for a place let me know. Karissa and I have a place in West Des Moines. It is a suburb and really close. Plus we have three extra bedrooms doing nothing at all. Also I just met a kid from Mudlake the other day at church, he said he knew Nick really well and of course I have forgotten his name. I want to say it is Jake Summers or somehting like that. Any hope all is well.
