Eight of a Kind

{8} shows I love to watch:
1 . Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe (so gross, can't help it!)
2 . How It's Made (reminds me of the segment on Mr. Rogers where they show you how stuff is made like crayons--why do I remember these things?)
3 . Planet Earth
4 . Jon and Kate plus Eight
5 . U of Florida or BYU College Football Games. Go GATORS!
6 . Destroyed in Seconds (I admit I'm a Discovery Channel fan)
7 . An occasional O'Reilly Factor--mostly for the pinheads or patriots segment!
8 . The news

{8} favorite restaurants: K-we don't eat out, we are poor college kids but the ones we miss from out West the Most are:
1 . JAMBA JUICE--thank you for creating the Orange Dream Machine--so good!
2 . Millhollow
3 . Bruchi's
4 . Red Robin
5 . Chicos (oh, the best pizza in the world!)
6 . Cascade Gardens (oriental place in Issaquah--hot and sour soup sounds yummy!)
7 . El Caporal
8 . The Mercantile (enjoy this for us all you Tri-City-ites)

{8} things that happened yesterday:
1. Drove Blaine to class
2. Cleaned the apartment top to bottom
3. Played with Colt and taught him how to stack blocks (He taught himself how to knock them over)
4. Finished off my latest book and enjoyed it thoroughly
5. Talked to both my brothers and my Mom
6. Made a good dinner and watched my son throw food off his highchair. aahh, help.
7. Exercised-enjoyed it.
8. Talked with my husband--caught up after a long day. So nice.

{8} things I am looking forward to:
1. Colton being potty-trained.
2. Time with our families
3. This election being over and if Obama wins, the day he's out of office.
4. Blaine graduating from U of F.
5. Someday getting to paint a wall--we are in apartment mode right now and I do love it but sometimes that sounds appealing. Then, again I don't have to mow lawn right now.
6. Snow at Christmas--can't wait to fly home and experience real cold! if you know me, you know that is strange because I usually don't mix well with cold weather.
7. When Colt wakes up from his nap in an hour and gives me a kiss.
8. Nancy Pelosi not being in Washington anymore.

{8} things on my wish list:
1 . That I enjoyed grocery shopping more--I just don't like it if I have to go alone.
2 . That I could talk to my Grandmas one more time to tell them thank you and ask their advice.
3 . More time with Blaine
4 . Many, many, many books and bookshelves to put them in.
5 . The hope that with my next child (i'm not hinting at anything) that my darn epidural works!
6 . That I could go back and be nicer to people I might have hurt.
7 . A beautiful, in tune piano of my own to play and play and play
8 . Someday, if I'm lucky a craft room where I can create lovely things.

Chicos is this amazing pizza joint in Moses Lake WA, and they pile the toppings so high and toss tomato slices on top--I'm hungry just thinking about it. The book I finished was Doctrines of Salvation by Joseph Fielding Smith and it was very good. Now I'm reading his Father's writings.

I'm going to have to get Jason to drive me up to Moses Lake for some Chicos pizza!! I love pizza. We went to The Mercantile a few weekends ago with my family. That is a great place! There is so much good stuff there, we have to force ourselves to stay away. It's great to learn more about you!
